Assurance Wireless phones are modern mobile phones with a wide range of standard features such as voicemail, call waiting and caller id. The basic plan is a free phone and 250 free minutes each month (unused minutes do not rollover into the next month). Call 1-888-898-4888 and an advisor will be happy to assist you in the application process. Assurance Wireless And CenturyLink: A low cost; ($9.95 a month), high-speed internet plan for those qualifying for Lifeline Assistance.
CenturyLink’s “Internet Basics” is for people who qualify for the Lifeline Affordable Telephone program, which uses the same qualification criteria as the free cell phone program does. If you qualify for one, you probably qualify for the other. In addition, CenturyLink’s special internet plan is also available to families that qualify for the federal school-lunch program.
